Portrait: What the GlenAllachie 15 year old

Since the takeover by Billy Walker and Co. in 2017, there has only been one direction for The GlenAllachie: up. This upward trend of the distillery is now visualized in a new design. Diagonal elements, embossing and refinements represent the continuous progress of the independent Speysiders. While the content of The GlenAllachie Single Malts remains unchanged, the visual update modernizes and premiumizes the brand - and brings the packaging into line with the quality in the bottle.

The 15-year-old GlenAllachie has been a member of the core range since the summer of 2019 Speyside distillery run in 2017 under the leadership of Billy Walker.
The Single Malt Whisky matures in the former Pedro Ximenez - & Oloroso-Sherry-Puncheons and Hogsheads.
As usual for the Core Range, the single malt is neither colored nor chill-filtered and with an alcohol content of 46%vol. bottled.

Tasting Notes: This is how the GlenAllachie 15 year old tastes like

• Nose: clearly raisins, Butterscotch and sweet spices
• Palate: soft in taste - the raisins again, then strong notes of ripe bananas, orange peel and dark chocolate develop
• Finish: long and soft in the finish - raisins, bananas and chocolate are present for a long time - above all the sweet spicy tones
