The set to get to know - in addition to the popular Dos Maderas PX 5+5, the gift tin contains a 50ml miniature of the Dos Maderas Seleccion.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Dos Maderas PX 5+5 year old tastes like

  • Nose: clearly molasses, dates and vanilla
  • Palate: dark Fruits and sweeter sherry, again the sweet dates, plus plums and oranges - then getting spicier with notes of allspice and cloves
  • Finish: long, pleasantly sweet finish with fruity notes of ripe berries

Tasting Notes: This is how the Dos Maderas Seleccion tastes like

  • Nose: rounded, fine aromas of ripe rum, clearly spicy white oak and the sweetness of Pedro Ximénez sherry
  • Palate: mouth-filling and soft with harmonious notes of ripe dark berries, plus a fine spice
  • Finish: long and intense in the lovely finish - clearly the sherry cask influence
