The elegant Single Malt Whisky matured in former Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads and in first-filled former Bourbon Barrels.

Only 1,800 bottles were filled

Since January 25, 2011, the young Wolfburn distillery has been producing Single Malt Whisky distilled.
Since then, highly qualified staff and the most modern firing technology have ensured that only the best possible New Make spirit flows from the stills. Wolfburn Whisky is used. Made in the traditional way - by hand, without haste and with the greatest possible attention to quality. The mild, soft and fruity character of the single malt is due to the type of production - long fermentation and gentle, slow distillation.

The maturation takes place exclusively on site in so-called dunnage warehouses (lying storage of the barrels and open ground for high humidity) a few 100 meters from the coast.

Tasting Notes: This is what the Wolfburn - it's the most wonderful time of the year tastes like

• Nose: sweet sherry aromas and the scent of juicy dried fruits, followed by vanilla, a hint of coffee and dark chocolate
• Palate: juicy, soft and mouth-filling - strong notes of toffee and syrup, followed by vanilla and cocoa again - above all a fruity taste of ripe autumn fruits and heather honey
• Finish: in the long, warm finish the vanilla again, which then turns into soft caramel
