Portrait: What makes the Longrow 21 year old Release 2023 special.

The Longrow 21 Years is bottled once a year.
In 2023, Casks were selected in which previously stored Sherry and Bourbon.
The ratio of the selected Casks is heavily sherry-heavy - 65% Sherry Casks and 35% Bourbon Casks were selected and vatted together.
A magnificent single malt whisky with an elegant sweetness

Tasting Notes: This is what the Longrow 21 year old Release 2023 tastes like

  • Nose: Aromas of ripe hazelnuts and black currants
  • Palate: a soft sweetness of syrup, then becoming more delicate with notes of open cola bottles paired with the scent of a cigar box
  • Finish: the characteristic longrow finish - reminiscent of pebble beaches, flint and seaweed
