Campbeltown in Year 1832: We embark on a journey through time to the origins of the Glen Scotia Distillery. With the first bottling of the new "Signature Series", the distillery captures the true essence of Campbeltown - a small coastal town on the Kintyre Peninsula that was once "the whiskeyst place in the world".

Tasting Notes: This is what the Glen Scotia Signature Series - 1st-fill Bourbon tastes like

  • Nose: strong oils, juicy peaches and melted brown sugar
  • Palate: soft and full mouthfeel, almost oily - the peaches and sugar again, now crunchy green apples and ripe grain
  • Finish: long, warming finish with lots of oak spice
