The Aberfeldy 15 year old Finished in Sémillon Wine Casks from Cadillac matured for 15 years in selected Casks.
For the last six months, the single Malt Scotch Whisky received a finish in former strong>Sémillon white Wine Casks from the French Cadillac.
Aberfeldy presents the limited bottling in an elegant black gift box with gold printing.

From John Dewar & Sons Founded in 1898, the Highland distillery Aberfeldy is the first distillery of this famous company.
John Dewar & Sons still owns the license for Aberfeldy and still sources a significant proportion of the base malts for their blends.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Aberfeldy 15 year old Finished in Semillon Wine Casks from Cadillac tastes

  • Nose: fresh fruity aromas paired with a floral scent
  • Palate: at the beginning there are clearly bright stone fruits such as nectarines, peaches and apricots, followed by ripe oranges and again the floral notes - above all the fudge and caramel with a slight spice in the background
  • Finish: long, gentle and soft finish - again the bright fruits, now more spice - clearly cinnamon and caneel
