By John Dewar & Sons Founded in 1898, the Highland distillery Aberfeldy is the first distillery of this famous company.
John Dewar & Sons still owns the license for Aberfeldy and still sources a significant proportion of the base malts for their blends.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Aberfeldy 12 year old tastes like

  • Nose: clearly heather, honey and sweet pineapple , then toffee, fresh grain and some vanilla
  • Palate: sweet golden syrup and honey again, followed by spicy notes and some orange peel
  • Finish:dry, slightly spicy finish, the orange peel again
