The Finnish family business Lignell & Piispanen looks back on 170 years of history - here they know how a premium Glögg is made and what it should taste like.

Surprised every year Lignell & Piispanen with a vintage Glögg and, since 2022, also with an alcohol-free version!
In 2023, the traditional house will now present the first Glüh Gin liqueur!

The Loimu Glüh Gin Liqueur combines red apples, gin and a hint of blueberries, as well as blackcurrants, which give the liqueur its beautiful red color. 

The liqueur is flavored with traditional Christmas spices such as cloves, cinnamon, anise, cardamom, ginger and spruce bark. 

Tasting Notes: This is what the Loimu Glüh Gin Liqueur tastes like

  • Nose: ripe red apples and black currants, spicy for Christmas - juniper and cardamom in the background

  • Palate: soft and fruity in taste - the apples again, plus blueberries, juniper berries and strong Christmas-spicy notes
