Distilled in the West Indies Rum Distillery in the pot and column still from molasses, the Plantation Barbados 10 Year Arran Whiskey Finish first matured for a year in Barbados in former classic American bourbon barrels, then Ferrand left the Rum in France for four years in former Ferrand Cognac Casks and for five more years in former Single Malt Whisky Casks from the Scottish Arran distillery .
The Arran distillery is located on the “Isle of Arran” on the west coast of Scotland. It was opened in 1995 and is the only distillery on the island.
Arran specializes in single cask bottlings in special casks, e.g. Calvados, Champagne.
