Portrait: What makes the Plantation Panama 2010 Sherry Cask Finish special.

Distilled in 2010 at Destileria De Las Cabras in the multi-column still from molasses, the Plantation Panama 2010 Sherry Cask Finish matured initially for eight years in Panama in former classic American Bourbon Casks , then Ferrand left the Rum  in France for four years in former Ferrand-Cognac Casks and another year in Dios Baco Sherry Casks.

Sherry is a fortified white wine from Andalusia in Spain. The Bodegas Dios Baco winery is located in Jerez de la Frontera and is the most outstanding and important.

Tasting Notes: This is what the Plantation Panama 2010 Sherry Cask Finish tastes like

  • Nose: nutty aromas, with fresh popcorn, milk chocolate, light raisins and brown cane sugar
  • Palate: fruity-sweet taste with clear notes of candied fruits, followed of subtle tannins and a hint of sherry
