Distilled in 2014 at the West Indies Rum Distillery in pot and column stills from molasses, the Plantation Barbados matured 2014 French Muscat Cask Finish initially for six years in Barbados in former classic American Bourbon Casks, then Ferrand left the Rum in France for two years ripen in former Ferrand Cognac Casks and another year in French Muscat Wine Casks.
The Muscat vine is a very high-quality vine that exists worldwide and is very old. Wines made from Muscat grapes are characterized by sweetness and spice.
