Traigh Bhan (Galek: "singing beach") is a 19 year old limited bottling from Islay -Distillery Ardbeg.
Matured in former American Oak and former Oloroso sherry casks the batch no. TB/05-12.02.2004/23.GM bottled in limited edition in 2023.

In September 2023, the Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 year old returns for the 5th batch of the Traigh Bhan.

This exquisite Single Malt Whisky, which is produced year after year in small batches is inspired by the beautiful beaches of Traigh Bhan (pronounced: Träi-Wan), locally known as the "Singing Beaches" on Islay.

The Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year old Batch #5 has its own, very special tropical note. As usual incredibly balanced, it is an exciting flavor mix of juicy mangoes, maple-smoked bacon and incense. A lush symphony of herbal, spicy and fruity notes, with a grandiose finish of toffee, butter and heather on the finish.

The epitome of a long-aged Ardbeg from American oak Casks with a slightly higher proportion of Oloroso sherry Casks. Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year old Batch #5 achieves an incredible balance of Ardbeg's peaty-smoky complexity with delicious sweetness. The flavor profile isn't the only thing that changes from year to year .

• Nose: fragrant aromas of lush tropical fruits, followed by extraordinary aromas of smoke and incense with menthol sweets and saddle soap - in the background roasted green pepper, smoked mango, guava and coconut

• Palate: initially creamy, then intense notes of spicy herbs and ripe fruits - smoked maple bacon, charcoal, white Pepper and cloves follow gentle hints of wood smoke and sea spray
• Finish: a pleasant, long finish with further tones of tropical fruits, fragrant heather, warm toffee and smoked butter
