The Belize XO 14 Year old is a rum distilled from molasses by the Travelers Liquors Belize distillery.
The rum is stored there for 14 long years in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak.

Then the rum receives a finish in former Madeira barrels, which give the rum its fruity aromas.
This is complemented by notes of toasted wood, sweet oak and chocolate.

The Belize XO 14 year old - T. Sonthi is made with 43%vol . Bottled alcohol content. It owes its dark color exclusively to the influence of the barrel - the rum was not colored.
The Belize XO 14 year old was slightly sweetened (less than 20g sugar per liter of pure alcohol) so it is less sweet than the two T. Sonthi qualities Barbados and Panama.
