Portrait: What makes up the Malfy Gin con Amarena.

The distillery is located in Moncalieri, just outside the city of Turin - an area known for the production of fine wines and spirits.

Torino Distillati was founded in 1906 and is run by the Vergnano family - Carlo, his wife Piera and their children Rita and Valter.

Beppe Ronco and Denis Muni are the experienced master distillers.

The the most important ingredient of Malfy con Amarena are Amarena and black cherries.
The cherries are marinated in alcohol and then pressed.
The infusion is then mixed with juniper and other botanicals and distilled.

Botanicals: Juniper, Amarena cherries, black cherries, coriander, cassia bark, Florentine iris root, licorice root, Italian lemon peel (coastal-grown)

Recipe suggestion: Malfy con Amarena & Tonic
50ml Malfy con Amarena
150ml Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic
Garnish on ice cubes with a slice of lemon and mint leaves
