With the Espero Cocoa & Rum is a rum liqueur Creole. The base is a 7-year-old rum from the Dominican Republic. This is refined with the macerate of the Criollo cocoa bean and thus results in a unique taste. 

The Espero is thus classified Cocoa & Rum Liqueur Creole as a rum-based liqueur.

The Espero Cocoa & Rum Liqueur Creole is the ideal base for many cocktails and long drinks!

The Espero Cocoa & Traditional-style rum liqueur Creole made from high-quality dark rum made from molasses. After 7 years of aging in ex-bourbon casks, the rum is refined with the macerate of the Criollo cocoa bean. The result is a rum with intense notes of cocoa and chocolate.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Espero Cocoa & Rum Liqueur Creole

  • Nose: intense, strong aromas of dark chocolate and cocoa, a pleasant sweetness with finely tart traits, behind which are ripe tropical fruits and an elegant spiciness
  • Palate: full and complex in taste - clearly the chocolate again, plus spicy notes of fresh herbs - the fruity notes recede somewhat, but are present
  • Finish: Long, soft and round in the chocolaty finish - cocoa, light ripe fruit, some vanilla and spices are present
