A special highlight of the series is the Kilchoman Vintage 2014 Bourbon Cask #642 #1/10 made from barley that Exclusively from the Farm Distillery Kilchoman.
The Whisky is lightly peated at 20ppm. 

The visionary aspiration of the 100% Islay philosophy is expressed in this unique single cask collection.  

Carried on by the centuries-old tradition of "farm distilling", the endless possibilities of local artisanal processes and outstanding cask management, Kilchoman's skilful variety is evident.  

Different cask types, vintages and smoke levels in cask strength are presented.  

Each of the barrels is numbered for the release AN SAMHRADH 2023 by I-X, each bottle is individually numbered by hand and provided with a short Distiller's Tasting Note.

Kilchoman is proud to be Scotland's only distillery to produce a single malt made from their own grown and malted barley.  

The Uniquely Islay series gives Kilchoman the opportunity to experiment with and present unusual barrel types.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Kilchoman Vintage 2014 Bourbon Cask #642 #1/10 tastes

• Nose: light peat smoke and maritime aromas, plus some vanilla and fresh citrus fruits
• Palate: soft and mouth-filling, again the peat smoke and the Vanilla, plus light ripe fruit and light hints of spicy oak
• Finish: long, pleasantly sweet finish - vanilla, peat smoke, damp linen cloth and oak spice are present
