A wonderful rum, distilled from molasses, which is aged in oak barrels in Cuba for eleven long years after distillation.
The distillery Ronera Santiago de Cuba is now the eighth generation of master distillers who have mastered the art of producing rum in a traditional way.
Tasting Notes: This is how the Ron Santiago de Cuba Extra Anejo tastes 11 year old
- Nose: harmonious and round in aroma - clearly brown cane sugar, caramel and toffee - with fresh vanilla pods and tropical fruits
- Palate: smooth and full with distinctly fruity and spicy tones - ripe tropical fruit is just as present as roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate and toffee - hints of roasted ;constant nuts - light notes of vanilla above all
- Finish: long and warm finish - very soft and balanced
