Portrait: What makes the I love Papa Peat Elements of Islay.

Fathers are core elements in the periodic table of life. The Elements of Islay series pays respect to this fact again this year. With the Elements of Islay Cask Edit - I love Papa, the popular Elixir brand is dedicating the heart of the peaty-maritime island whisky to all dads and peat lovers. The pharmacy design of the Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky was supplemented with loving elements for the gift idea and the dad was put in the center.
 
The sender of the "I love dad" message can be on left his name on the right edge of the label created as a card. The personalized bottle provides "father joy" - and delights with the combination of intense, smoky single malts from the south coast of Islay with a fresher, fruitier style from the north..

Tasting Notes: This is how the I love Papa Peat Elements of Islay tastes

  • Nose: Orange peel and thickly cut bacon with mussels and glowing coals
  • Palate: Hickory smoke and hints of Lapsang Souchong tea with salted caramel and dark chocolate, followed by smoked ham and seaweed
  • Finish : Sea Spray and Baked Apple fade away, leaving heavy smoke, truffle salt and sweet spices
