Tobermory bottled the Hebridean Mountain Gin in a limited edition - the extraordinary thing about this gin is the use of whisky raw brandy, the gin brandy distilled at Tobermory before maceration is added with selected botanicals.
The result is a special, slightly malty note that underlines the notes of the selected botanicals, such as rowanberries, tea and heather.
Tasting Notes: This is how the Tobermory Hebridean Mountain Gin tastes like
- Nose: ripe lemons and juniper berries at the beginning, followed by spicy notes of cardamom, coriander and angelica
- Palate: Mouth-filling and soft in taste - clearly fruity tones of ripe berries, especially rose hips and rowan berries - above all spicy heather, ginger root and meadowsweet
- Finish: long in the finish - again the lemons and the berries - then becoming spicier
