In 2023, the guys from Knut Hansen have once again set out on a journey to create a special edition . After the last special edition, which was characterized by Caribbean influences, this special edition was created by Knut Hansen in Iceland. 

The Knut Hansen VATNAJÖKULL EDITION was produced together with the Hovdenak Distillery. The Hovdenak Distillery is the only distillery in Iceland that has a vacuum still.

Of course, local ingredients such as arctic thyme, Icelandic moss, reindeer moss, black crowberry and kelp algae were used, which were handpicked during the trip were.
