Portrait: What makes the Ballechin 15 Year old SBCS Release 2022 #1 special.

What does malt with at least 50 ppm smoke content and aging in various types of casks result in? Variety, depth and multi-dimensional smoking pleasure. This is what the Ballechin brand from "Scotland's Little Gem", the Edradour Distillery, stands for. Produced to a large extent as in the founding days of the legendary favorite distillery of many whisky fans , Ballechin's Highland Single Malts are the most peaty Edradour has to offer.

For a small-batch bottling, the “Heavily Peated” whiskey made a delicious liaison. The Ballechin 15 Year old SBCS Release 2022 #1 was married from classic Bourbon Barrels and Oloroso Sherry Butts. With cask strength 58.9%vol. it provides an intense experience of heavy peat smoke, sweet vanilla and dark fruits.
