A concept for very special and unique whisky creations. Slyrs most experienced distillers select individual, special casks from the cask store at Schliersee for each Slyrs Distillers Choice and create a unique, exclusive whisky rarity. Each Slyrs Distillers Choice Edition reflects the personality and the masterly craftsmanship of the responsible distiller.

The first Slyrs Distillers Choice Edition was penned by the experienced distiller and production manager Adrian Dießl.

The Slyrs Distillers Coice - Maibock Beer Cask Finish was distilled in the traditional way in 2018 and, after traditional storage in new American white oak barrels, matured for a further two years in barrels in which Schlossbrauerei Valley's Maibock had previously been stored.

• Nose: malty character, paired with intense aromas of honey, caramel, wood-fired bread and fine Nuances of ripe berries
• Palate: slightly sweet, very full-bodied in taste, balanced with a subtle hoppy bitter note
• Finish: cleaner Finish with tones of sweet, rich crusty bread
