The new Batch #9 continues the bottling success story. By combining Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks with Rioja barriques and medium-fired Virgin Oak casks, Billy Walker achieves the celebrated balance of dried fruit, spices, dark chocolate and typical GlenAllachie sweetness.

Tasting Notes: This is how the GlenAllachie 10 year old batch #9 tastes

  • Nose: Waves of heather honey, dried fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by Orange peel, mocha and syrup
  • Palate: lots of dark chocolate, figs and heather honey, plus raisins, cinnamon, plums and tones of orange zest
