The Loch Lomond distillery impresses with a variety of outstanding whiskies - both single malts and single grains, as well as impressive blended whiskies.
The Loch Lomond 14 year old is a single malt whisky with distillates exclusively from straight neck pot stills.
The Loch Lomond 14 year old matures in refilled and newly burned ex-bourbon casks made of American oak.
The result is an intense one Highland single malt with clear notes of ripe fruit, honey and a gentle smoky note.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Loch Lomond 14 year old tastes like

  • Nose: Clear aromas of coconut, green apples and pears, plus spicy cinnamon, cloves and lime
  • Palate: Sweet toffee and vanilla fudge at the beginning, then clearly grapefruit, again the limes, ripe pineapple and roasted oak
  • Finish: long finish with a gentle smoky note, warm oak spice, again the cloves and some aniseed
