Portrait: What makes the Inchmurrin 12 year old.

The Loch Lomond distillery impresses with a variety of outstanding whiskies - both single malts and also single grains, as well as impressive blended whiskies.

The Inchmurrin 12 year old is a single malt Whisky with distillates exclusively from straight neck pot stills.
The Inchmurrin 12 year old matures in refilled and newly burnt out former bourbon casks American oak.
The result is an intensely fruity Highland Single Malt.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Inchmurrin 12 year old tastes like 

  • Nose: Fruity aromas of pear candy, plus an elegant sweetness of toffee - behind it light aromas of freshly cut grass in the summer sun
  • Palate: Ripe Seville oranges at the beginning, then softer ones follow Notes of ripe apricots and peaches - above all creamy fudge and vanilla
  • Finish: medium length in the peppery finish
