The refined in the former Cognac Cask, bottling limited to 402 bottles catches the eye with an artistically striking design and is a homage to the connection between art and whisky.

The Big Peat - The Peat of Art Edition was bottled undyed and not chill-filtered at cask strength and matured in former Cognac Casks from J.G. Monnet.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Big Peat - The Peat of Art Edition tastes

  • Nose: clear, strong aromas of peat smoke and sea spray, plus juicy barley, old leather and seaweed - strong, spicy aromas above all
  • Palate: mouth-filling with a strong note of peat full of fresh smoke surrounded by a fine sweetness and a oily-creamy mouthfeel
  • Finish: long and full-bodied finish with even more peat and a slightly fruity elegance
