The Santos Dumont Heritage Hors d'Age is the special edition from Santos Dumont - only the best casks are selected and bottled for this bottling.

The Master Blender combines molasses-rum qualities from the West Indies, Brazil and Central America with cachaca from Brazil, made from fresh sugar cane juice.

The Santos Dumont Heritage Hors d'Age is bottled with an alcohol content of 43.8%.

The result is an elegant rum with egg A Baltic amber tone - full of aromas of leather and ripe apricots, plus soft tones of tobacco leaves.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Santos Dumont Heritage Hors D'Age tastes

  • Nose: intense aromas of ripe apricots and leather, behind which are mild aromas of tobacco leaves
  • Palate: mouth-filling and soft - again the apricots are clearly evident, plus coconut, light Notes of ripe citrus fruits and sweet Demerara sugar - in the background mocha and cocoa
  • Finish: soft and complex in the long finish - now ripe tropical fruits in the foreground - behind them again cocoa and the tobacco leaves
