Independent bottler Signatory is in This fortunate situation and so regularly roams through the warehouse of its own distillery Edradour in the Scottish Highlands.

In of the Un-chillfiltered Collection appear like this again and again exquisite single cask bottlings from the Edradour distillery.

The dark color of this bottling indicates intensive sherry cask aging - the single malts are consistently of high quality and an enjoyable highlight.

Also underneath again single casks of 10-year-old Edradour single malt - obviously matured in former sherry casks, these bottlings always have a strong dark color and clearly show what wonderful single malts Edradour creates.

Cask #505 was released on 14 November 2012 filled with fresh distillate and matured for over ten years until it was bottled in February 2023.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Edradour 10 Year old 2012/2023 Single Cask #505 Signatory tastes

• Nose: soft, full aromas of plums, plums and black cherries, along with dried figs and raisins - above all soft caramel and dark chocolate, slightly spicy
• Palate: Mouth-filling, soft and creamy in taste - the sherry cask influence is unmistakable - intensive notes of dark fruits, again the plums and cherries, plus figs, dates and raisins - then follow mild spicy notes, dark chocolate, cream and caramel
• Finish: long, soft finish with sweet and spicy hints of raisins, dark chocolate and spicy oak
