The small Scottish Highland distillery Edradour has been proudly owned by independent bottler Signatory for many years - and what could be nicer than discovering the most extraordinary casks in the warehouse and bottling them as Single Cask Bottling?

It has been like this for many years very nice tradition at Signatory to release these casks as single cask bottlings.

Including single casks of 10-year-old Edradour Single malt - obviously matured in former sherry casks, these bottlings always have a strong dark color and clearly show what wonderful single malts are created at Edradour.

The cask #418 selected here was filled with fresh distillate in September 2012 and matured in the Cask for over ten years until it was bottled in January 2023.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Edradour 10 Year old 2012/2023 Single Cask #418 Signatory tastes

• Nose: clear sherry aromas and ripe stone fruit - especially plums and dates, then soft aromas of ripe, dark berries follow, followed by some toffee and chocolate
• Palate: creamy and soft with intense notes of juicy raisins, plus prunes and dates again - the sherry is clear recognizable - in the background notes of freshly baked fruit cake with a light, elegant Oak spice
• Finish: long and soft finish - sweet fruits, toffee and dark chocolate are present
