Founded in 1825, Edradour had changing owners - from the New York mafia to Andrew Symington, the mastermind behind Signatory Vintage. 

Production has hardly changed: Edradour works in large Sharing like in the 19th century, including with original equipment.

Having long since become a legend among single malt fans, the Highland distillery under the Ballechin produces their most peaty single malts, distilled from malt with at least 50 ppm smoke.

Distilled in May 2007, the single malt whiskey matured for over 15 years in the three former Madeira casks #199, #200 and #203, then Edradour married the casks together and filled the Ballechin 15 Years 2007/2022 SFTC Madeira Cask Matured #199,#200 & #203 in October 2022 to 1,258 bottles.

• Nose: strong aromas of ripe dark berries, plus plums and raisins - light peat smoke above all
• Palate: mouth-filling and complex - again the plums and raisins, plus cream pudding and slight hints of heather - above all the peat smoke
• Finish: long finish - fruit, peat and old leather are present - above all spicy tones
