Portrait: What makes the Aultmore 14 year old "The Spirit Animal Series" special.

The series "The Spirit Animal Series" stand for the animal soul mate or in this case for the soul mate whisky.
For each bottling, special emphasis was placed on storage in sherry casks when selecting the casks to do justice to the mystical and mysterious.
The expressive labels on the bottles each symbolize a local animal species, accompanied by characterful colours.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Aultmore 14 years "The Spirit Animal Series" tastes

  • Nose: soft aromas of ripe vanilla and toffee, behind which fresh shortbread and a hint of ginger
  • Palate: warm notes of fruit compote, behind which creamy dark chocolate and light hints of herbs 
  • Finish: the finish is very long with even more chocolate and a hint of salted caramel
