Portrait: What makes the Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023.

Named after the famous dark, peaty lake , which is overseen by the distillery, Loch Gorm's annual limited bottling is the only regular edition matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks.

For Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023 Oloroso Sherry Cask, Anthony Wills and Robin created it A total of 22 casks were selected in Bignal.

Eight of these casks were distilled in 2013, six in 2014 and eight in 2015.

The Oloroso sherry casks come from the renowned Spanish Bodega José y Miguel Martín, from whom Glenfarclas sources its famous sherry casks.

Each cask has been a selected which, when paired with each other's 21 casks, strikes a wonderful balance of rich fruit character with classic Kilchoman peat smoke and citrus sweetness.
