The French know pastis in Burgundy too! B-A-R Jo Pastis is proof of this - Burgundy's first pastis, the renowned distillery Clos Saint Joseph is responsible for the B-A-R Jo Pastis.

Clos Saint Joseph is a young family business from the small town of Mersault. Founded in 2014 by Charles-Guillaume and Blandine Simon - together with their five children.

B-A-R Jo Pastis is an elegant pastis of star anise, green anise and liquorice, plus 35 other botanicals coriander, juniper and vanilla .

Clos Saint Joseph is concerned about ethical and fairly traded goods - Clos Saint Joseph has partnerships with fair trade companies in Cambodia for star anise, in Madagascar for bourbon vanilla and pepper.
