As early as 1755, the Monymusk Plantation sugar factory founded in Jamaica.
Today, Monymusk Plantation Rums belong to National Rums of Jamaica Ltd.

The Monymusk Special Reserve 10 Years Rum is a fine blended rum from both column still and im Pot still distilled premium rum qualities, all distilled in the Clarendon Distillery.

The Monymusk Special Reserve 10 years matured in sele for over ten years fermented American oak casks under the tropical Jamaican sun.

Deep amber in colour, the Monymusk Special Reserve 10 Years is a rum with a typical Jamaican style.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Monymusk Special Reserve 10 Year old tastes

  • Nose: clearly dark chocolate and espresso, followed by molasses, an elegant spiciness and aromas of liquorice
  • Palate: mouth-filling and powerful in taste - the spicy oak barrel is present, behind it are slightly sweet notes of ripe tropical fruits and brown cane sugar
  • Finish: long-lasting Departure - balanced tones of molasses and fruits
