The Scottish Speyside distillery Linkwood is famous for its fruity single malts .
Signatory selected first and second fill exOloroso sherry Butts for this bottling.
Distilled in September 2013, bottled in October 2023.
As always with Signatory, bottled without the addition of coloring agents!

Vintage whiskies from a closed distillery, single malts from rare single casks - for its bottlings Signatory Vintage feels exclusive Scotch whiskies . 
More than 10,000 Hogsheads, Butts and co. are stored in the halls of the independent bottler. Signatory releases bottlings from this wood treasure in different series. The copper-colored tubes are synonymous with (beginner) whiskies with a pleasant drinking strength of 43%vol. 
At the beginning of 2023 Signatory discontinued the series.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Linkwood 10 year old 2013/2023 Oloroso Sherry Butts Vintage Signatory tastes

• Nose: barley sugar, yellow fruits, apples and Bananas, then aromas of apricots and peaches follow, plus fresh lime peel and ripe plums - with a little water ripe melons, guava and allspice
• Palate: sweet, ripe fruits paired with mint, Lemons, cinnamon and green tea - behind it lemon cake and dried pineapple
• Finish: medium-length finish with notes of light grapes, kiwi and cinnamon - followed by apple peel and an elegant freshness
