Behind the name Whitlaw is the larger of the two Orkney distilleries.
Signatory selected first and second fill exOloroso sherry butts for this bottling.
Distilled in June 2013, bottled in December 2022.
As always at Signatory, bottled without the addition of colourings!

Vintage whiskys from a closed distillery, Single Ma lts from rare single casks - Signatory Vintage tracks down exclusive Scotch whiskys for its bottlings. 
More than 10,000 hogsheads, butts and co. are stored in the halls of the independent bottler. Signatory releases bottlings from this wood treasure in different series. The copper-colored tubes are synonymous with (beginner) whiskys with a pleasant drinking strength of 43% vol. 
At the beginning of 2023 Signatory discontinued the series.
