Portrait: What makes The Six Isles Voyager so special.

This whisky is not tied to a single style or place, but unites the wild character of the Scottish islands. 
The Six Isles Voyager brings together single malts from the islands of Orkney and Islay, Skye and Arran as well as Mull and Jura. 
The established independent bottler Ian Macleod has created a truly unique blend with the blended malt Scotch whisky.
No other blend combines the essence of the islands in itself. 

Thanks to the lack of cold filtration, it unfolds its full aroma - of peppery, slightly smoky spice, wine gum and floral s like maritime tones.

Tasting Notes: This is how The Six Isles Voyager tastes

  • Nose: peppery with a slightly smoky spiciness, with wine gums and floral as well as maritime aromas
  • Palate: Lush, oily notes paired with spicy wood, citrus fruits and some peat 
  • Finish: long and soft finish with salty and sweet tones
