Otherwise Master Distiller Barry Crockett would hardly have chosen this as his signature whiskey. 

Crockett's name is on the label, he vouches for the quality of this fine distillate. < br>In order to create this high-end whiskey, Barry Crockett uses the entire box of tricks that Irish whiskey production has to offer. 

So he first builds an ingenious combination of different All whiskeys - including old and high-quality pot still distillates. 
Afterwards, he plays with the sophistication of different types of casks.
For the Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy, he opts for both bourbon and first-fill casks.  
This not only gives the whiskey fan an insight into the art of whiskey production; it is also spoiled with numerous aromas. 
Because when berries, pears and tangerines come together in one glass, you really have something ingenious in the glass.
