Their bravery and ingenuity helped turn the tide of the Revolutionary War.

Privateer Rum follows their lead and sets away from the practices of large rum producers.

Privateer Rum demonstrates its art in a special way in single cask bottlings named "Letter of Marque". according to the letter of marque, the legal basis for privateering.
The Letter of Marque Single Cask No. #574 was selected exclusively for Germany.

Its basis: Grade A Guatemalan molasses, produced in a factory ensuring commitment to the environment and to the standards of the cane workers.

Extensively fermented in cool temperatures for six days, it was double distilled in the pot still and left the aromatic result to the cask magic of a New American Oak Cask.< br>
After 4 years and 4 months of aging in the maritime climate of Massachusetts, the rum flowed with a full-bodied 57% vol. Alcohol content in 228 bottles with a vintage look.
