Portrait: what does the Jameson tasting set offer.

Jameson Irish Whiskey
The classic from Jameson - a full-bodied and mild whiskey, triple distilled as is traditional in Ireland.

Nose: soft and flowery with a light sweetness of jam and fudge - fresh hay in the background
Palate: full body with lots of fruit - apple and pear, plus vanilla and spicy notes
Finish: medium-length, spicy finish with a present note of honey

Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition
Triple distilled Jameson, which was first stored in oak barrels, then i n former stout beer barrels.

Nose: fresh hay, slightly fruity with clear apple and peach, then becoming more spicy - roasted coffee in the background
Palate: soft and fruity in taste, fresh with notes of hops and cocoa - behind it marzipan and roasted oak
Finish: long finish, slightly sweet with chocolate, butterscotch and a little vanilla

Jameson Black Barrel
Triple distilled Jameson, first aged in oak casks, then in ex-stout casks .

Nose: strong and fruity with tropical fruits, especially peach, guava and coconut, behind which fresh grain
Palate: full and rich in taste with a Extraordinary creaminess - clearly dates and walnuts, again peaches and coconuts, with some cinnamon on top
Finish: long finish - very fruity g, cinnamon is joined by nutmeg and some oak

Jameson Crested
This premium brand has been on the market since 1963 and enjoys a justifiably excellent reputation in Ireland.

Nose: like a walk through an orchard full of ripe fruit, with rich vanilla aromas
Palate: the fruit again , followed by juicy dried fruit, some Sherry and chocolate
Finish: soft on the finish - dry and very balanced
