Whisky has been making history in India for over 150 years.

The history of Indian whisky began on a Scottish level but only around the turn of the millennium.  

And with Amrut. 

India's flagship distillery was the first in the country to focus on the production of real single malt and established its quality whiskey from Bangalore around the world.

The ambitious distillers rely on small-grained and therefore sweeter Indian barley from the foot of the Himalayas.  
Amrut only uses barley malt from Scotland for peated bottlings.

Only 198 bottles with 60% vol. Cask Strength for the Amrut exMadeira Cask #8844 2017/2022 from the sweet and spicy strong wine cask.
