The Scottish Hoghland distillery Deanston lets this single malt Whisky mature exclusively in former Kentucky bourbon casks.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Deanston Kentucky Cask Matured tastes like

  • Nose: malty aromas paired with ripe barley , then intense aromas of ripe pears and apples, along with light hints of pineapple, papaya, cinnamon and some oak wood

  • Palate: creamy-soft and mouth-filling with clear notes of vanilla pods, Spicy heather honey and roasted nuts - the pears and apples again above all

  • Finish: malty tones and cereals again in the medium-length finish, i to honey and vanilla
