Discovering premium casks with Scottish whisky - that has always been the focus of Elixir Distillers.

Since 2002 the independent bottler Elixir Distillers has been releasing them under the name "The Single Malts of Scotland".

The range consists of outstanding, unadulterated vintage malts from all Scottish whisky regions.  

Five single cask bottlings of the series are now coming onto the market exclusively for Germany.

Tasting Notes: This is what the Speyside 26 Years 1995/2022 Sherry Butt #27 tastes like

  • Nose: sweet, spicy aromas of dried fruit and spices, behind which are dark plums and beeswax
  • Palate: soft and pleasant with lots of fruity notes Notes, especially dark fruits, clearly the sherry cask influence, plus soft cigar smoke and old leather
  • Finish: long finish - the leather and the dried fruit are preserved for a long time
