Once a small deli, Gordon & MacPhail is now one of the international experts in aging special Scotch whiskies.
The company has been family-owned for four generations and has combined its own casks with distillates from over 100 Scottish distilleries.
In more than 125 years, the independent bottler has bottled one or the other exclusivity and various series have been launched - one of the oldest series is the Connoisseurs Choice series.
Created in 1968 by whisky visionary George Urquhart, today it encompasses more than 2,000 bottlings.
This includes the 27-year-old Tormore 1994/2022 1st-fill Sherry Butt #8348 (Finish) - the single malt whisky was bottled at cask strength and, after finishing in the sherry butt, combines vanilla and black pepper with apple pie and milk chocolate.
