The new series "Discovery" by Gordon & MacPhail presents the different flavors in the world of Scottish single malt whiskies.
We start with the three most popular "flavors" "Smoky with Peat", "Bourbon Cask Matured" and "Sherry Cask Matured".

For this bottling, Gordon & MacPhail distilled a Tomatin from the Scottish Highlands in 2010, which matured exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks.

Nose: soft and sweet with intense aromas of banana and mango - behind it lemon cream
Palate: full-bodied taste - again the exotic fruity notes of dried bananas, mango and papaya, behind which is warm pudding
Finish: long and soft on the finish - the sweetness fades into the background, now more clearly fresh herbs and spicy oak
