A.H. Riise presented the limited bottling "La Galante" of the award-winning Non Plus Ultra series in autumn 2022.
The name comes from Christopher Columbus' ship "Santa Maria La Galante", with which he discovered the West Indies and the green island of St. Croix , where there were perfect conditions for growing sugar cane.
The bottle is also a homage to Albert Heinrich Riise's first brand "Old St. Croix", which appeared on the bottles 150 years ago along with his signature was to see. 

For this occasion, the name "Old St. Croix" can also be found on the bottles of "La Galante".
The exclusive blended Rum in limited edition is produced by A.H. Riise master distiller made from the best wines from the West Indies and Central America.

Each oak barrel of long-aged rum is carefully selected to create a premium blended rum that captures the essence of the West Indies and island flora.

The mahogany-colored rum-based spirit is rated at 43.4 %vol. Alcohol content bottled in an elegant carafe with a facet cut, which invites you to a unique taste experience.

"Every bottle of "La Galante" is a small unique specimen and each bottle is numbered.
Less than 2,000 bottles are produced for one batch.
Because only the best is good enough for us , we always strive to make each batch as close as possible to the previous one, but there are always small differences in the selection of barrels and the taste.", reports Michael Bielefeld, CEO of A.H. Riise Spirits.

• Colour: dark red mahogany
• Nose: a stimulating scent of orange, caramel, cream Brulée and vanilla with aromas of mahogany and the aromatic bay rum wood that grows wild in the West Indies 
• Palate: complex, full-bodied and softly spicy taste with a hint of orange, creamy vanilla and lemon with notes from the finest quality oak Casks
• Finish: rich and creamy with notes of the initial taste that gradually fade into a long aftertaste
