A genuine single pot still whiskey from Ireland!
The Writers Tears Single Pot Still first matured in classic former Bourbon Casks, then the Writers Tears Single Pot Still received a second maturation in former Pedro Ximénez Sherry and former Marsala Casks.

It is precisely these casks that give the Writers Tears Single Pot Still its wonderfully sweet scent of candied apples and soft notes of sherry.

Nose: sweet candied apples, some vanilla and ripe barley
Palate: velvety soft, almost creamy with clear notes of ripe red fruits, especially plums and cherries, paired with figs and dates - above all, slightly spicy notes
Finish: the sweetness fades into the background and the tones of exotic spices dominate in the long finish
