First, star anise is carefully distilled in the column still.
Then follow a series of macerations of fresh figs, orange blossom and sweet local almonds, along with various botanicals and spices, such as liquorice and vanilla. 

Also hand-harvested plants from the Bay of St.-Tropez , including myrtle and thyme, are added to the mixture.
