It rises to 331 meters in the heart of Jamaica.

The Scottish pass road and the Caribbean mountain could hardly be more different.

However, they share a name: Rest And Be Thankful.

Rest, enjoy, be thankful for something good - that also belongs in the world of fine spirits, according to the two founders of the Rest & Be Thankful Whiskey & Rum Co.

Eamon Jones and Aidan Smith had already gained extensive experience in the Scottish whiskey business with Fox Fitzgerald.

With their Rest & Be Thankful Rum range, they are now conquering the hearts of demanding sugar cane fans.

This is achieved with authentic bottlings without additives, colorings or chill filtration.

The Long Pond 1998 comes from the distillery founded in 1753 in the famous Trelawny region.

The rum was distilled on July 24th, 1998 - the American Oak Barrel with the number #10242 was stored both in Jamaica and in Europe before it was bottled on March 1st, 2022 at the age of 23 years to only 117 bottles.

With the 23-year-old exclusive bottling for Germany, the place of longing for rum fans has created an intense experience with roasted notes, dried fruits and a salted caramel finish.
