In 2021, three whisky enthusiasts from the Swiss Langatun distillery put a heart project into practice .
With the Long Valley Selection - inspired by the headquarters of the Baumberger family's traditional distillery and brewery in Langenthal in the Swiss canton of Bern - they entered the business field of independent bottlers.

The Long Valley Selection presents independent bottlings from Scotland's whisky regions, which - if necessary - are finished in selected casks for a certain maturation period to become the finest drops with a distinctive variety of tastes.
The Long Sherry Butt of the 16-year-old Craigellachie comes from the distillery founded in 1891 in the municipality of the same name in the Speyside region in Scotland.

The bottling reflects the character of the distillery and its region of origin in an exemplary manner: The Single malt is a wonderfully smooth distillate that was allowed to mature for 16 years in a fruity sherry butt.
With cassis, roasted aromas, leather, cloves and cotton candy, this Craigellachie makes the hearts of sherry fans beat faster.
